During my time in quarantine, I have been baking a lot. It is something that has been keeping me busy. It seems almost that I have been baking something new every single week!
From baking Vegan Browed "Butter" Chocolate Chip Cookies that I found on Buzzfeedtasty.com which had:
¾ cup refined coconut oil, melted
¾ cup dark brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk, of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
3.5 oz dark chocolate, chopped
½ cup semisweet chocolate chunks

Second week was Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies that I found the recipe for in an old cookbook. I noticed that the more I continued to bake each week, the better my recipes seemed to turn out. Maybe that was because I was choosing recipes that were so delicious, or maybe that was because I was improving over time.
Last week I decided to make Brookies. I was indecisive between brownies and cookies, and my friend Sara was coming over to watch If I Stay, a book we had read in our book club, and now we were going to watch the movie together. Yes we are that type of book club, we like reading books that have movies with the books. So indecisive me decided to make Brookies and boy did they turn out amazing! My whole family loved them <3
Here below is the recipe that I used to make the Brookies: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/238654/brookies-brownie-cookies/
